How to launch a Telegram channel
A full guide: create a channel and a bot, get the token and connect everything to TestIP.
1Step 1. Create a channel
In Telegram: pencil (new message) → "Create Channel". Set a name and description, choose public (with a @handle). Remember the handle, e.g. @my_channel.
2Step 2. Create a bot in @BotFather
Open @BotFather → /newbot. Enter the bot's name and username (ending in ...bot). BotFather sends an API token like 123456789:AAH… — keep it secret.
3Step 3. Make the bot a channel admin
In the channel: "Manage Channel" → "Administrators" → "Add Admin" → find the bot by username and grant "Post Messages".
4Step 4. Add the bot to TestIP
Dashboard → "Bots" → paste the BotFather token → "Add bot" → "Check connection" (a Telegram getMe call confirms the token).
5Step 5. Add the channel
Dashboard → "Channels" → enter the channel address (@my_channel or numeric chat_id), pick the bot and the social network (image format).
6Tips
For a private channel use the numeric chat_id. One bot can serve several channels if it's an admin in each.
